Juan Fernández was born in Cádiz in 1984 and began his studies in Flamenco and classical dance at Paco del Puerto’s school in El Puerto de Santa María, at the age of 10. He continued his training in Jerez de la Frontera with renowned teachers like Antonio el Pipa, Leonor Leal, Chíqui de Jerez, Fernando Belmonte and Fernando Galán. He expanded his knowledge at the Cibayi dance school, under the direction of Charo Cruz, where he studied disciplines such as classical, Spanish and modern dance, thus enriching his artistic training.

In Seville, where he currently resides, Juan perfected his studies under the guidance of recognized masters such as Manolo Marín, Eva Yerbabuena, Pilar Ortega, Andrés Peña, Adela Campallo, el Junco, Manuela Ríos, among others. Throughout his career, he has been awarded several prestigious awards, such as the Critics' Award for Best Show in Japan, the First Prize of the La Perla de Cádiz Contest and the Second Prize of the "Aniya la Gitana de Ronda" Contest, among other recognitions.

Juan Fernández's artistic career includes participation in international festivals such as the Concom Festival in Toulouse (France) with his show "De Los Puertos", as well as tours in Europe, the United States and Canada with the show "Authentic Flamenco". He has collaborated with prominent companies and artists, such as in the opera "La Traviatta" alongside the dancer Mercedes Ruiz and on tours with the company "Las Minas Puerto Flamenco" in various countries.

Currently, Juan Fernández continues to bring his show "De Los Puertos" to the best tablaos in Spain and offers classes and courses both in his country and abroad, including places like Japan, New York, London, Albuquerque, Denmark and Germany. His passion for Flamenco and his dedication to dance have led him to establish himself as a talented bailaor with an internationally recognized career.
