Yaiza Trigo is a flamenco dancer born in Alcalá de Guadaira, who began dancing at the age of 6 in a family environment deeply rooted in flamenco tradition.
At 14, she started her training with the renowned dancer Juana Amaya, which solidified her as one of her greatest influences. From a young age, she participated in major festivals such as the Noche de San Miguel and Noctaria, and at 16, she won the Villa de Guillena Competition, which led her to the XVI Festival de la Bulería in Guillena.
She was also the winner of the Manolo Soler Competition at the Cristina Heeren Foundation and received the Acciona scholarship.
In 2022, Yaiza presented her first show, “Sueño”, in Alcalá de Guadaira and began studying with great flamenco masters such as Rafael Campallo, Farruquito, and Beatriz Morales, among others.
She also stood out in the semifinal of the Concurso de Baile de las Minas de la Unión. At 18, she received a new Acciona Practicum scholarship at the Cristina Heeren Foundation, which will allow her to continue growing as a flamenco professional and participate in the Bienal de Sevilla 2025.
