Carlos Velazquez started in the world of dance at the age of 5 at the Emilita Montesino school. He made his debut at the age of 8 at the Alcázar theater in Madrid with the play "We Flamencos Are Like This" alongside great dancers. He continued his training at the Real Conservatory of Madrid and at the Amor de Dios Dance School with masters such as El Güito, Rafael de Córdoba, Rosa Durán, and Maria Magdalena.

He has worked as a solo dancer in companies such as those of José Greco, Carmela Greco, Rafael Aguilar, Camborio and Lucía del Real, Paco Peña, Tito Losada, Belén López, and the Madrid Flamenco Ballet. He has performed in Moscow, the United States, Mexico, England, Germany, Italy, Israel, Japan, China, and Taiwan. He has also performed in different theaters in Spain and in the capital such as the Calderón theater, La Latina theater, Muñoz Seca theater, and Arenal theater.

He has also performed in different tablaos in Madrid such as Casa Patas, Corral de la Morería, Café de Chinitas, Las Tablas, Villarosa, and Cardamomo, among others. He currently directs artistically the flamenco tablao Cantares and has taught classes for two years at the municipal school of Parla. Currently, he is working at the flamenco tablaos 1911 and La Quimera.
