Marta Cañizares was born in Arroyo de la Miel - Benalmádena, Málaga. She completed her professional artistic studies in Flamenco Dance at the "Pepa Flores" Professional Dance Conservatory in Málaga and her Higher Education in Flamenco Dance Pedagogy at the "Ángel Pericet" Superior Dance Conservatory in Málaga. Additionally, she expanded her knowledge at the School of Young Flamenco Dancers of the Federation of Flamenco Peñas of Málaga, under the guidance of the dancer Susana Lupiáñez "La Lupi." She has developed her training by participating in master classes, festivals, and seminars with Eva Yerbabuena, Antonio Canales, Rubén Olmo, and others.
She was a répétiteur for "La Lupi" for the National Ballet of Spain in the production "Alento y Zaguán."
She received the award for "Best Dancer" at the Málaga Crea competition in 2018.
She has worked in tablaos in Málaga, Madrid, and Barcelona. From 2015 to the present, she has been working with the Antonio Andrade Flamenco Company, performing shows like "Carmen and Flamenco Suite" in numerous countries.
She currently resides in Seville and is working in various tablaos in the city. Additionally, since 2024, she has been part of Mercedes de Córdoba's company, which premiered the new show "OLVIDADAS, a las sin sombrero" at the Bienal de Sevilla.
